Designed around cemetery requirements
Cemeteries can set different requirements for size, granite color, finish, thickness, edge style and installation. Before ordering, families should obtain the cemetery’s written memorial specifications for the correct section and grave location.
Mecca Stones can help you interpret those requirements and create a design that fits the permitted dimensions. In most cases, the cemetery completes the installation. When installation is not provided, we can discuss referral options.

Granite selected for readability
Black granite is often chosen for its strong contrast with light lettering and detailed artwork. Other natural granite colors may also be available. Because granite is a natural material, color, pattern and availability can vary by size and supplier.
Islamic inscription guidance
Because a flat marker can be walked on, we generally do not recommend engraving Qur’anic verses or the names of Allah on a ground-level marker. We can suggest respectful phrases or discuss an upright option where allowed.

Yes. Production begins only after your family approves the complete wording, spelling, layout, artwork and other details.
Can a flat marker include a portrait?
Yes. Portrait engraving and custom artwork can be included when the chosen granite and cemetery rules allow them.
