More flat markers, bevel markers, monuments, bronze markers, and custom designs will be added as the collection grows.
Granite is available in a range of natural colors and patterns. We most often recommend Black Galaxy granite because it creates the strongest contrast with light lettering, helping names, dates, multilingual inscriptions, portraits, and detailed artwork remain clear and easy to read.

Our preferred choice for crisp white or light-colored lettering and fine detail.

A cool blue-gray stone with bright reflective mineral movement.

A deep green-black granite with distinctive reflective crystals.

A rich, dark red granite with subtle black mineral variation.

A vivid warm red granite with lively natural patterning.

A light green stone with flowing dark veins and red mineral accents.

A gray-burgundy granite with soft, naturally flowing movement.

A warm brown granite with black and copper-colored mineral detail.

A muted blue-gray granite with sweeping burgundy movement.
Because granite is a natural material, its exact shade, pattern, and availability can vary by memorial type, size, quarry, and supplier. We will show you current choices before you approve the final design.

At Mecca Stones, we understand that choosing a memorial is not only a personal decision but also one guided by faith. As a Muslim-owned business, we are familiar with many of the Islamic traditions and considerations that families may wish to observe when selecting a memorial.
One important consideration is the use of Qur'anic verses or the names of Allah on flat markers that are installed flush with the ground. Because these markers may be walked on by visitors or cemetery maintenance staff, we generally do not recommend engraving sacred verses or the names of Allah on them, out of respect for the words of Allah.
Instead, we can help you choose other meaningful inscriptions, such as a respectful Islamic phrase, a du'a (supplication), or a personalized message. If you would like to include Qur'anic verses, we can also discuss options that may be more appropriate, such as upright memorials, where permitted by the cemetery.
Because we specialize in serving Muslim families, we are familiar with Islamic considerations that may not be discussed during the memorial selection process. We are here to help you make informed decisions with care, respect, and sensitivity to your family's beliefs.
Whether you have questions about cemetery requirements, memorial options, design ideas, cemetery regulations, or Islamic considerations, our team is ready to guide you every step of the way.
